Max Payne to be exact. Not new, but pre-owned, from Game. I traded in 2 old PS2 games and 2 Xbox games, and got a value of £45; so I chose Max Payne and Return to Castle Wolfenstein Special Edition for the PC.
The reason I got Max Payne was that a friend lent me the PS2 version. I didn't bother with the game originally, because I was told it was very short. But I enjoyed playing the PS2 version.
So I picked up the Xbox version, as it is supposedly the 'best' version. Well, it is marginally better, but generally it's pretty identical. But that's not the point.
It is a very enjoyable game, and while I do wish I'd bought it originally (on any format), I'm also glad I didn't, because I got it nice and cheap! :-)
Anyway, the (fairly irrelevant) point of this post is just to let you know that I have actually bought another Xbox game. After all, most of you know what I'm like! :-)
beanz - the only problem with taking it back is that they write in permanent marker over the manual and case. I got it off the case, but no luck with the book. So they'll know it's pre-owned. :-(
Wookiee is still about! Thought you'd left for good mate, hasn't seen a post by you for ages!
actually i'm not sure about preowned...
just say you didn't like it or something
Can you take a pre-owned game back to Game under the 10-day no-quibble guarantee thingy?
And I'm finding RtCW bloody hard, even on the easy level! Damn zombies taking all my ammo.
Anyway, glad to see you've found another X-Box game mate. :-)

-speechless-
Seriously, Max Payne was the first XBOX game I bought - just love that stylish violence.
But basically it is the game itself, plus 7 additional multiplayer maps, the original Wolfenstein 3D game, a behind-the-scenes look at how RTCW was made, all the level-building tools, wallpapers, cartoons and concept art. All for £20.
(Incidentally, SR have the original game for £24.99 and the SE for £17.99!)
