Starting 30th Sept Game will be running playable demo of Pro Evo2 in 50 of their stores, you get 5 mins playing England vs Brazil, if you win the 5 minute match you get a code which you write on an entry form with your details and hand to a memeber of Game staff, 128 people nationwide will be picked at random to go through to the second. There is a (very vague) advert for it in Playnation magazine and it mentions www.pesfan.com but that hasn't been updated yet.

From PESFan.com.

At the end of the day, there can only be one. November this year will see the release of Konami's eagerly awaited Pro Evolution Soccer 2 for PS2 - the only football game you need to own this year. To celebrate its release, Konami are looking for the country's Ultimate Pro Evo player. No ifs, no buts, the National Championship will be where all the arguments stop. It's your chance to prove to the nation that you're 'the daddy' at Pro Evolution Soccer 2. Enter the tournament to be held in selected branches of GAME. Europe's leading videogame and computer software retailer - and you'll get to play the hugely anticipated Pro Evolution Soccer 2 before anyone else. And if you're good, you could win fantastic prizes worth more than £2500 courtesy of Konami, GAME and UMBRO! From the initial entrants, 128 players will be selected to enter 4 regional knockout competitions, staged during special evenings at GAME stores. Every regional finalist will walk away with a very special goody bag! The 4 regional winners will then be invited to a top venue - all expenses paid! - to fight it out for the main prizes... and the glory of being named the first ever national Pro Evo champion!

The qualifying stage of the championship begins on September 30th and ends on October 13th. During this time the special Pro Evolution Soccer 2 demo will be running in the 50 branches of GAME listed at the bottom of this page. To enter the Championship, visit one of the stores during the two weeks, pick up an entry form and play the five minute England Vs Brazil demo. If you win the match a unique code will appear on screen. Write this code and your score, along with your name contact details on a form and pop it in the stores special entry box. Then sit back and wait to find out if your one of the 128 players chosen to progress to the next stage. Qualifiers will be contacted before October 21st. That's it. Good Luck!

Watch out for extensive coverage of the National Pro Evo Championships in future issues of Play Nation and right here on PESFan.

Level 3 is probably the average level - but its still a little tricky for me seeing as though im not used to the whole system and everything.

I didnt like PES.

WE6 is much better though.

Thing is. Many Pro Evo players have their own method of play. I can't see the Game compo allowing for tactical changes, formation settings etc. since they'll wanna get a nice flow going for the competition.

Heh :) Nobody would get through. As long as it's on a decent difficulty level and not on the easiest. Then all is fair IMO.

I'm game for that.

That level 5 difficulty is rock solid.

I would easily get beat.

That's a bit unfair. Unless they lamp the difficulty up to 5 then it'll separate the men from the boys.
