There are bare sites for chipping, try out www.playstationships.co.uk, messiah I think you need to solder, but with it you dont need the AR2.

With the plug and play ones you need AR2, or in some cases Region X will work.

Those plug and play ones are quite cheap,

BUT REMEMBER OPENING YOUR BOX WILL VOID ANY OF YOUR GURANTEES, and someone told me in 6-7 months time your console will bust, and can get damaged.

Don't get one. When you install it, it will ring up sony and say:

"THIS GUY'S A PHONEY! PHOOOONEEEYYY! HEY LOOK EVERYONE! THIS GUY'S A PHONEY! YOU'RE A PHONEY!"

Honest.

i would get the one which you plug in, except the place that sold chipped ps2 games near me closed. now there is nowhere that sells them for miles.

from where? how much? dyu need ar2? and whats so goos about messiah? and how much?

The usb mod requires you to solder one wire inside your PS2. AR2 costs around £25-£30 available on many sites.
