IN this topic, why don't we write what games, are the best to get for the festive season.
Why not state, why do you think it's worth it.
You could win gameaday if you write something good!

I agree that Shenmue should be on your list, if you have a Dreamcast of course. I will be buying Shenmue as soon as I can afford to, which will hopefully be before Christmas.

But as for other games I'd say that Perfect Dark, Mario Tenns & Zelda MM on Nintendo 64, Spiderman and Driver 2 on the PSX and Quake 3 and MSR on the Dreamcast are my tips for a must-buy this Christmas.

SHENMUE (DC): Should be everyones number 1 choice, next gen gaming at its highest quality. Going to be like nothig you have ever played before, unbelievable visuals, go anywhere do anything gameplay, full speech, hundreds of characters to talk to, thousands of interactive items, should be one hell of a game. Best game ever made!!

WWF NO MERCY/WWF SMACKDOWN 2 (N64/PSX): The best wrestling games ever getting even better sequels. Might appeal to non wrestling fans as a class beat em up with loads of characters and over the top moves. Some interesting match ups ladder, table, casket, hell in a cell, iron man. The most realistic looking wrestlers to date.

DONKEY KONG COUNTRY (GBC): Relive those old SNES days in portable style. This looks like being the best platformer made for the GBC. With the original and more included, should keep Nintendo fans happy for ages.

TOMB RAIDER CHRONICLES (PSX/DC/PC) : Alright so not everyone likes Tomb Raider but this will still rule the game charts. The last ever TR made before moving on to next generation consoles looks to be the best one since the original. Same style gameplay with new moves, some fine looking graphics, a matrix looking level, and a chance for some to gloat over Lara Crofts death, for a while anyway.

JET SET RADIO (DC) : One excellent title. Have played the demo and this is a must. Some wonderfull looking visuals matched by some quality gameplay, crossed between Tony Hawks and Crazy Taxi this should belong in anyones collection.

ZELDA MAJORAS MASK (N64) : The greatest game on earth gets a follow up, nuff said!!!

I love San Francisco Rush 2049, I think it is going to be one of the most under rated games out this christmas. I've got the N64 version, but I've played the Dreamcast one too and that's even better than my version (although it's mainly the graphics that have changed) It's fun to fly off of tall buildings and try to fly with the wings extended, but I found the flying a bit difficult and always seemed to end up ploughing into a building or tree until I practiced it on the stunt course.
I haven't played Zelda yet, I played the first one but lost patience with it after about 3 hours. I guess I just don't like adventure games very much. I like Perfect Dark though as it has a lot of action bits in.
The problem with christmas lists is that different people like different games and everyone's list is going to be different.

Okay here's what N64 games, are worth looking at to buy for you or beg from your parents!

Zelda Majora's Mask

Why not get an N64 just for this? If you missed out on the great Ocarina of time, cash in on a cheap coloured N64, and buy this game with it!
It's certainly worth the money if you loved OoT.
People who have played it might notice a few similar stuff. At least they kept the targeting system, but everything else is different and more detailed.
Plus there's the added bonus of Navi not saying 'Hello!' everytime!

The World is Not enough (TWINE)

I would of thought the RARE team would have made this if they didn't lose the rights to it. Instead we got Perfect Dark, and now we get TWINE from Eurocom.
Another shoot em' up but this time it's with Bond not Dark....Perfect Dark. IF there's one game you must get except Zelda get this!

Mario Tennis

Seriously, can a fat plumber be fit enough to blast the living daylights, out of the nintendo crew out of the world , but nobody needs to be too fit to have a round of golf. But now this is really silly! Real silly i mean, but still it's addictive, like every other Mario game, so I would give the chance to get it, if anyone say's do you want it, i would say yes.

Perfect Dark

Why wouldn't i leave this out? What a superbly detailed game! Some Bond fans might think, this is a cheap imitation of Goldneye. I wouldn't say that, if RARE spent the day's they delayed the game for, to make a cooperative and Counter mode, just for the wait.
I would get this along with a console and either Zelda's.

San Francisco Rush 2049

This hasn't been the most amazing series, to come on the N64. But this is set to change that.
Why wouldn't a racing game, be not complete without a Battle Mode or Stunt Mode! No one would, racing fan or not, you enjoyed Mario Kart so you'll enjoy this, nuff said.
If there's one racing game, i would get this and Ridge Racer 64. The N64's 2 best racing games.
