Sorry for going off topic but - welcome back Wookiee !!!
That doesn't mean the Xbox is bad, but it means exactly what I said. I have enjoyed my PS2 more, so it was a better purchase.
Keep your PS2, and see if you can pursuade your mum to buy you an Xbox for christmas, without having to hand over your PS2.
If you trade in a console, you will regret it when you start to miss the games you loved. Or when a good game comes out for that system.
> I wouldn`t bother.
Me either. My Xbox has been untouched since April.
At least wait until November/December until some decent software arrives. Having said that, there's also great software due for PS2, so you may want to consider keeping it even if you do get an Xbox. I just couldn't be without my PS2, even with the Xbox and Gamecube.
If you haven't got a broadband connection, don't bother, stick with the PS2 as it has a much larger catalogue of games for it, and there's bound to be something there in the 400+ titles to grab your interest.
If you can afford a second console then fine but if you are only going to have one then you are much better of sticking to the PS2 for a while to come.
Much bigger range of games to choose from and at better prices.
sounds dodgy to me.
If you sell, and then buy a new console, you`ll make a loss, and end up with a different console but less games. Those games will be no better than the ones you had before.
Unless you can think of a large number of games you want that will be going to X-Box only and only a small number of games you want going to PS2 only, then its really not worth bothering.
