I BACKED UP THE X-BOX!
It is you I have a problem with not the X-box.

Maybe you are wrong, if I commit to posting an argument I do read the other posts! Fair enough, you seem to talk openly about how you don't like the Xbox so I will about why I don't like the GameCube, that way I can't acuse anyone! It does when he said "this is epsecially for Garbe123" at the end of his post!

Bye!
*Pops champagne cork*
I'm returning to the Nintendo forum, I like it there.
p.s you are the Nonse! :D

YOU NONSE!
I popped that post BEFORE any argument we might've had.
And I didn't post to pop it and annoy you, I posted it to ridicule some stupid Xbox fanboy (one you personally had a go at in the same thread) and simply put that "for Garbe123" because you'd made such a big deal about it in the topic. It was after that that you turned up in FoG and called me a spamming fanboy.
I've already told you this before.
I'm beginning to wonder if you actually read what I say or whether you simply look for keyparts like "I prefer Gamecubes over xboxs" and base what you do on that.

I understand what you mean. This is how most people feel about it at first.
It's also what I thought about the N64 original when I first got it.
At first it seems like a button basher.
The strongest moves can be pulled off by pressing a direction on the analogue stick and the nature of items and level design means that it's possible to find yourself blasted off the arena almost randomly.
BUT, the more you play it (especially in multiplayer), the more you get to grips with it and understand it.
The moves are simple to pull off, but using them effectively is another kettle of fish. Also, once you master the triple jumping, rolling and dodging, and start to understand how to use the moves properly, what used to seem like a button basher becomes a fast paced game of skill, timing, quick thinking and instant tactics.
Other than the original N64 Smash Brothers, there is no other fighting game like it!
Once you get to this level, there's far more skill involved than learning button pressing combinations in traditional "realistic" beat-em ups.
Ofcourse, 1 week would not be enough to discover this.
It took me 3 months to realise it with the original Smash Brothers.
And although I've not played Powerstone, the fact that it is 3D means it is either much slower, or lacks the control and skill of Smash Brothers.
Not that I'm saying that Smash Brothers is a better game - it would not be fair for me to compare a game I'd not played before.
But because of the difference in "dimensions", both games have their strengths and weaknesses. I.E. instead of being better than each other, they're simply different.
Finally, before someone shouts how SSBM is unoriginal because it's based on it's N64 predecessor:
It's infinitely improved on it's predecessor in EVERY way, it's had loads of new ideas too it, that still leaves only 2 games like it, and Melee is much, much more of an improvement over the original Smash Brothers than Jet Set Radio Future was over it's Dreamcast predeccessor.
And that's supposed to be one of the Xbox's most original games.
