"Mario Sunshine after Christmas?"

Has anyone else noticed that SR have the release date for Mario Sunshine as being the 4th of January 2003?

Surely Nintendo wouldn't be so stupid as to release a game this important after the Christmas period.

Would they?

Sunshine WILL be released on the 4th oct. Not should be released but WILL be released. Nintendo have allready finished te european version and are planning advertising etc. for the release. Nintendo have all ways said they don't give out release dates till they are sure the game will be ready so we won't be dissapointed if the date slips back. Therefore it will be relased 4th october

NGC also say October is when Timesplitters 2 comes out (end of september) and other dates are wrong, it is because Nintendo made a major announcement about the release date of major titles for the next 5 monhs but NGC was writen BEFORE this announcement, so they thought it was 27th at the time (Dunno how) but are now well corrected in thinking it is 4th of october...

Maybe it's just sr that are releasing it next year, so tony has time to finish it before he lets anyone else have a go?

Someone asked about this in the Customer Service forum, and Schroeder agreed that it was wrong.

Or something.

Follow the link, unless SR know before Nintendo, I thik the release date stands at October 4th. For now...

Correction: it's a well known piece of information (not fact) that Mario Sunshine is DUE FOR RELEASE (not WILL be released) on the 4th of October.

I fail to see why you laughed, since your comment was so well thought out. I know everywhere else says the 4th of October, but there always has to be one place to break the news first and it's not as if Nintendo are foreign to the idea of release date delays.

GAME website reckons 4th October.

Hey, I said about this yesterday! I phoned up SR to order Mario Sunshine and they told me it wouldn't be out until 4th January! We'll see...
