Right, I'll get straight to the point.

My damned 3310 is switched on, just normally switched on, right? Nothing untoward about that.

But, ringing it from my house phone, it says "We're sorry, but the Mobile Phone you are calling is switched off, please try again later". Thing is, it's not feckin switched off!

Any help would be mucho appreciatedo.

Are you people simple? That happens to mobile phones ALL the time. The problem sorts itself out after a while, and it's nothing to worry about. You people obviously don't use phones that often ;)

No, they are crap phones. Got a couple of them in at the moment and the buttons and the interface are crap. Also you can't get your own ringtone or melody. Crap nokia.

It works now. It seems that it must have been a company fault or something. Thanks for trying to help though J.

The aerial is fine, I'm getting a good signal and everything. I can even ring out.

Right then, its something to do with the phone and not the simcard. The aerial might be broken and therefore insisting that no signals get through. If you are on contract you can get it repaired as a fault for free.

Basically, from now on. Get an Ericsson.

I tried that. I even took the Sim card, AND battery out, and left them out for 20mins. No change though.
