Keep in mind that burnout 2 is on the way (i think early november), and crazy taxi 2, which i understand to be significantly better than the original, might be ported too.

But if you don't want to wait, i'd go for burnout, of the two.

Definitely get Super Smash Bros. Melee, it's the best game on the GameCube to date and will certainly keep you busy until the UK release of Super Mario Sunshine.

Definitely Burnout. Seriously do not waste your time or money on the appaling Crazy Taxi. The novelty wears off after about two hours of play and should be kept strictly in the arcades.

Burnout however is the best driving game I've ever played. It's fast and very fun. However, it's a little too short for my liking, so if I were you, I'd save my case for Burnout 2: Point Of Impact.

I wouldn't say so, I've played PS2 versions and from what reviews I've read, apparently it's a direct port. I wasn't too impressed and it doesn't help EA's case for me (I've always felt their games are a little poor). Wait for Turok Evolution, Timesplitter's 2 or Metroid Prime and you won't be disappointed.

I'd go for Burnout, Crazy Taxi is a great game but I don't think i'd pay full price for such an old game. Wait a while and you can gurantee Crazy Taxi will be one of the first games to drop in price.

With games like Turok 4 and Timesplitters 2 just around the corner I can't recommend AUF. The are mainly badly designed, the AI is preety terrible, most of the guns loook like they're firing Jelly, the way athe enemys react to getting shot is terrible, they take ages to go down and repeated shots in their legs still result in them clutching their stomachs.

It's good for a hire but nothing else, I bought and swapped it a while ago, the car levels and on the rails levels are good but the main part of the game is dull and very short.

i hated james bond auf...i recommend you spend your cash on somethign else.
i thought the levels designs weren't very good...they lead you by the hand with everything...guns aren't very good...don't like how the bullets seem to go quite slowly...just not fun....way too short
