see what all the tech specs really mean when there tested, cos on paper they dont mean anything

I don't think there'll be a fee.
Nintendo have left it up to the Games publishers/devellopers to run their own online server to handle online gaming.
That leaves it as hit and miss.
Although it obviously won't be so well organised and reliable as Xbox live, it's also free, and it means that Nintendo don't have to worry about spending millions on online plans so they can use their money for more important projects.

Not at all.
Nintendo has always been THE platform for four player games.
Adding more players VIA online is just a way of explanding things further.
Nintendo have always made games for everyone, and they recently said they'd like to keep it this way, and not just develop for people who play online.
