Ingame Xbox screens! *jaw drops*
Your thoughts...
> Trust me, its better than 90% of those games you are waiting for.
I doubt that very much. The reason I can wait for this game is simple, the amount of FPS out this year are enough to satisfy my first person shooting needs. It's a game I'd love to own, and am looking very forward to series coming back to the PC. Besides, I'm more of a strategy fan than a FPS one, so to me no FPS action game is as good as the strategy titles out now.
> I can wait because from what I've heard the original it aint that special.
Ahh, what you've HEARD. Well hear this, I own the game and it is one of the best games EVER. It ranks as my most played game of all time as I have completed it on evey difficulty and am still playing, then theres the multiplayer...
Trust me, its better than 90% of those games you are waiting for.
> I am getting Buffy on it day before it comes out for 25 quid. Meh.
Where? How? :P
Oh and very nice graphics, if that's ingame then Xbox owners should be soiling there pants about now.
Metroid's gonna be better though :D

Looked at it, and what can I say, Whoopee do. I can wait because from what I've heard the original it aint that special. There are a ton of games that I want more than halo right now, so all I can say for the sequel is, meh.
> Surely Microsoft saying they will release a smaller XBox and cease production of the current one is self-admitting defeat.
Eh? Thats news to me, and it sounds like aload of crap.
"Microsoft stated that Halo 2 would be available exclusively for the Xbox during the holiday season of 2003. "
You MIGHT see the PC version at the end of 2004 if your lucky.
Also from gamespot
"Though Microsoft released some details on the next Halo game at E3 2002 in May, this was the first time that the game had been officially revealed to be a true sequel, and we also had a chance to see a noninteractive, in-engine teaser trailer for the game that showed off its new graphics engine and set the stage for the game's storyline."
"The Master Chief, the enigmatic main character of Halo, is back in Halo 2--as is Cortana, the AI construct that joins him early on in the original game. The teaser trailer shows the Master Chief arming himself in the belly of a spaceship. Shouldering an assault rifle, he makes his way through the dark corridors of the ship toward the hangar. During this sequence, the increased level of detail in Halo's graphics becomes obvious. Realistic real-time lighting effects, superior animation, and even more realistic bump mapping lend the visuals an authentic touch."
That verifys that they're in game, NOT FMV.
> And so the games worth owning an xbox for tally grows to 3.

> The plot thickens...
And one of the games they had to steal from Macintosh. Surely Microsoft saying they will release a smaller XBox and cease production of the current one is self-admitting defeat.
I don't really care, I am getting Buffy on it day before it comes out for 25 quid. Meh.
When PC owners get Halo next year, Xbox owners will only be a few months away from Halo 2.
Anyway you look at it, its gonna be a hell of a wait. I want it now!
