On Sunday I got an origional GameBoy from my cousin.
She's more or less grown out of it now 'cos she's 19 and she's training to be an RAF jet Pilot.

Anyway The games I've got for it are,
Tetris,
Super Mario Land 1 & 2
and The Lion King.

Are there any games you could recomend for me to get?

My brother's got the 'brick'
My cousin's got the Pocket
and both me and my brother have a Color and an Advance each so I've played on pretty much all the major Game Boys (including the Super Game Boy on the SNES)

I can't go back to the 'brick' after the Game Boy Pocket though - too blurry in my opinion.

Yes, Wario Land is one of the greatest GB games ever

Anyway, I couldn't believe it when my mate's little brother laughed when I told him I had an original Game Boy. He was playing on his pocket/colour thingy, and couldn't believe I had a brick of one

In response to the question about Game Boy Color games working on the original Game Boy -

If the game has a box and says 'Only for Game Boy Color' then it will only work on Game Boy Color or Game Boy Advance.

If the game has a box and down the left it says 'Game Boy Color' it should say whether it's compatable with the original Game Boy on the back of the box (usually at the top).

If you can only see the cartridges, then any cartridges of any colour whether grey, black, blue, yellow, red, gold or silver, etc, will work.
HOWEVER, if the cartridge is clear (and you can see the circuit-board inside) then it's only compatable with Game Boy Color and Advance (not even Super Game Boy!)

Reccomendations for original Game Boy?

Try the Donkey Kong Land series.
Super Mario Land and Mario Land 2 are great.
Wario land is EXCELLENT! (much better than the newer versions on GBC)
Kirby's Dreamland is easy but very fun!
Pokémon series is great!
the original Donkey Kong game is brilliant too (as it's got a whole long Game Boy only quest that doesn't feature in any other version).
