All this 'Pop Idol' stuff is driving me mad, stupid people copying old songs and getting to number one with them!

There is however an exception to this, I only found out the other day that Darius had actually written the song himself and got to number one in the charts with it.
Now I have to say that I am impressed with this, to go from 'National Idiot' to 'Pop Star' THROUGH HIS OWN WORK is quite an acheivement...
So although you may absolutely hate 'Pop idol' and anything to do with it, or even just the music, you really cannot say anything bad about him. If he carries on writing his own stuff and creating 'hits' then I wish him the best of luck, he should hopefully show Will and Gareth that there is more to copying songs and singing to music!
I have to say though, Gareth and Will are just there to annoy me. Neither of these two have written any songs by themselves, I don't even think that they have realeased a song between them the isn't a remake. (Well maybe there was one, that was a stupid mistake for me to make!) Anyway as much as you hate the whole thing, you really have got to back Darius as he is showing what you really have to do to be good at something!

And even if the songs they mime-to aren't oldies they still have managers and people to think for them!

Not a fan of pop, but still i am pleased to see darius beat simon cowells stuttering "pop idols" to the top!
Most of these crappy boy-bands don't write their own songs either, they get someone else to do it whilst they moisturise and shave their legs....
