"Where did the idea for your username come from?"

Apart from the pretty self explanatory ones (first names etc), where did you get the idea for your SR username?

Mines pretty self explanatory (also: boring) - initials and age.

But where did the ideas for yours come from? We've got some pretty wierd ones and I'd be interested to know.

my name was 'talkie toaster' from red dwarf but i got board with it and one night (blind drunk) i changed it for no reason
(i think i was trying to write 'link' from zelda, the memory is still a litle fuzzy).


now i just can't be bothered to change it back

Hey! I'm "The One". :P
I was told so here. :P

I joined the forums roughly 1yr ago, was trying to think of a username, I'd been browsing the forums looking at some of the stuff posted - and decided I'd name myself after what the forums were largely comprised of... hence, Pointless Babble. ;)

I think I got my nickname by altering Goatboy's name, I think.

Ah, tis a long story. I am an Orc in a fantasy series, a well known brand of racing kart and a Latin name for a rare shark. But I, sadly, got the name from the Japanese Pokemon name for the Pokemon called Scyther. I know, I know...

I don't like Pokemon though. Let me make this clear.

My username is my nickname that I didn't get til I moved to Cardiff in 1996 from a small villiage that somehow won 'villiage of the year' a couple years ago, called, Tedburn St. Mary.

The nickname is based on my surname.

Well somone just suggested it to me(i think it was fuzzy) and i thought it sounded good.I used to be called Gamecube13

Heh, my 16-year old brother gets the same problems :P

Nickname dished out to me by my friends at work, stuck ever since and just use it because I like it :-)

Well, I may be wierd, but my nick-name arises because :

1) My Surname is Graham
2) In the eyes of annoying kids, that becomes Gray-ham
3) In the eyes of a strange person like me, I reverse it and get PinkPig

Pretty Simple really...

Despite the fact that various members of the forums have assumed that the colour Pink makes me a girl.... it doesn't. Really.
