is FFX worth buying or does it get boring like MGS2?is it worth playing through more than once? does it have good side quests?The graphics and characters remind me of crapish FF8 am i mislead by these accusations?

It is going to take you a fair few hours then Green Goblin.
I have amassed almost 120 hours and have only taken out Dark valefor (only to get the Jecht sphere). I haven't really had a crack at the others yet, although I use Dark Ifrit to test my characters.
At the moment my stats aren't too bad, with almost everybody except Rikku having the sphere grid completed, and she isn't that far away.
I have captured all of the fiends, and am on my way to creating nemisis.
Everybody has their ultimate weapon, and and Tidus is the only one with good armour, consisting of Break HP limit, Auto Haste and Ribbon.
I probably could do better if I did start again, but I just can't be bothered at the moment.

Well on my old save I hadn't done much - like for example I'd only taken out 4 dark aeons. So I wanted to start fresh, and yes as you said - complete all the side quests propally, not to mention train everyone up to full stats!
