The best way to deal with this Seymour is to haste and protect everyone. If he uses Lance of Atrophy, use a holy water straight away so his Full Life won't have any affect. It might be wise to use Yuna and Kimarhi's trigger command to talk to Seymour and raise their strength. Use Silence Buster to stop him from using Dispel and flare. Also, you could poison him with Bio. It is when Seymour's HP is below 35000 that Mortiochis will use that annoying Total Annihilation move. The best way to protect yourself is using Shell or Kimirhi's Mighty guard. Rikku's mix overdrive might help aswell.

simple, cast reflect on it and it will cure you (if you don't cast any spells on it yourself, firaga ect.)

Well for no particular reason I'm going to tell you all where I am in the game (so no spoilers alright, ta)

I just climbed that snow mountain (the one with all the Ronso's on) anyway I'm in a fight with that big girl Seymour, I get him right down points wise then the little begger just canes me either with Total Anhilation or that Cut move thing (yeah), got any tips? I am now at the sanctuary keeper, he keeps using curaga, i tried using reflect but he did it on me.
I got him down to 7,000 then he used regen and curaga, cheeky lil .......

any tips?
