I have been playing guitar for the past year and I love Nirvana and their music (own all 6 albums), but yes, Cobain is crap guitarist, but he admits this himself: he said in Fender Frontline magazine "...I can barely play the things myself"
The Man Who Sold The World is also a fairly easy song to play - you can just look at the tab and play it instantly.
Kurt's music was good because of the intensity and raw emotion he put into it, not he technical ability.
Oh, and Hendrix is better than bothe Slash and Page - have you tried playing Hendrix before you slate him

You don't know a lot about Hendrix do you?
The list was top 100 so maybe they were in there.. I suspect Adam Jones may well have been..
Anyone got the complete list?
Adam Jones
Probably cos he made that godawful Seahorses record.
He's got a solo album out on Sept 9th. Hope its better than other guitar 'virtuosos' solo attempts.
(Steve Vai I'm talking 'bout you).

How do you work that out? Ever heard The Man Who Sold The World on MTV Unplugged? You probably don't realise how hard that is to play. To say he was a 'crap' guitarist is just plain stupid.
Slash and Jimmy Page were both better than Jimmi Hendrix.
