I got my PS2 on Saturday for my birthday, and here's the games I got (I got 7 of them about a month before the console off EBay, and some I bought in the last two days :D):

Legends of Wrestling - 8/10
WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It - 8/10
Shadow of Memories - 9/10
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - 10/10
Summoner - 7/10
Extermination - 9/10
Burnout - 8/10 (although I little overrated, IMHO)
Iss Pro 2000 - 10/10
Gran Turismo 3 - 10/10
Timesplitters - 10/10

And here's what's on my list to get:

Final Fantasy X
Devil May Cry
Tekken Tag Tournament
Grand Theft Auto 3
Dynasty Warriors 2 (Getting off EBay for £8)
Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex
James Bond: Agent Under Fire
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3
State of Emergency
SSX Tricky
Headhunter
Onimusha Warlords
Silent Hill 2
Crazy Taxi (Getting off EBay for £11.50)

So, please give me your opinions on those games and tell me what other games I should get. Thanks, Shaun

*Puts on Episode 2 DVD* :D

I don't think any existing games should get online play, would entail too much sodding about with Online CDs for every game - wouldn't be worth the hassle.

They'd save money by just doing it to games that aren't out yet. And will they charge a price for online play?

Yeah thats true. I have seen it in HMV, Gamestation (pre-owned 12.99) and even in Game. I have a feeling the reason this is, is because the online mode is going to be on that free disk you get with the hard drive along with some tank game SONY are making. Possibly.

I'm not a massive football fan, so if I had to live with one game, it'd be MGS2 - much more playing time involved :)

Oh, and if you were only allowed one game I'd say Pro Evolution soccer.

But thats just me.

I could live on just Pro evo and champ manager.

Come to think of it...I do...

By the way, this is just my personal opinion. I'm being very honest here.

> Final Fantasy X - Woundt go near it with a stick

> Devil May Cry - Most overrated game i have played in years.

> Tekken Tag Tournament - Pal conversion sucks. My grandad moves faster

> Grand Theft Auto 3 - Why havnt you got this game?!

> James Bond: Agent Under Fire - There is only ONE bond game, and it aint on a sony system.

> Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 - Not changed much but still quality

> State of Emergency - All the swear words you aint allowed to say on SR. This game sucks

> Onimusha Warlords - similar to Devil May Cry but just craper

> Crazy Taxi (Getting off EBay for £11.50) ACtually quite liked this. Not the longest life-span but great fun none the less

And here's what's on my list to get:

Final Fantasy X- Great reputation, presonally, ive never enjoyed RPG's but i suppose if you like that genre then i suggest this is the game for you.

Devil May Cry- Hmmm never played, got some top reviews.

Tekken Tag Tournament- Good solid, beat-em-up, worth getting considering it's gone platinum a while back.

Grand Theft Auto 3- Best game on the ps2 in my view, but perhaps its worth waiting for Vice city to come out just before christmas.

Dynasty Warriors 2 (Getting off EBay for £8)- *Shrugs*

Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex- See above

James Bond: Agent Under Fire- Solid FPS, but not worth shelling out so much money on. MOH:Frontline is a better alternative in my view.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3- Good game, great in-game music.

State of Emergency- Hmmm dont know.

SSX Tricky- Good one, but see if youlike SSX the orignal because they're basically the same except the original is going platinum.

Headhunter- *Shrugs*

Onimusha Warlords- Sorry dont know again

Silent Hill 2- see above

Crazy Taxi (Getting off EBay for £11.50)- Excellent game, insanely addictive, certainly worth 11.50 squid, great value.

Hope that helped.

So, please give me your opinions on those games and tell me what other
games I should get. Thanks, Shaun

I did have GTA3, but it was faulty, so I took it back and got Burnout instead, but I found GTA3 again today and part exhanged it with a faulty DVD (bloody Cash Concepts :P). So, I now have GTA3. Updated list!

Final Fantasy X
Devil May Cry
Tekken Tag Tournament
Dynasty Warriors 2 (Getting off EBay for £8)
Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex
James Bond: Agent Under Fire
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3
State of Emergency
SSX Tricky
Headhunter
Onimusha Warlords
Silent Hill 2
Crazy Taxi (Getting off EBay for £11.50)
Virtua Fighter 4

And MGS2 rocks.
