I think the binary definately has something to do with it, but no idea what

yeah its taken from the forums of the game site that the sentence is from, but as mentioned i dont think thats relevant at all.

I tried Bob's methods, no patterns, but someone asked for the letters:

well if we know they didn't actually write the entire thing in the first place with the intent of using it for this then it does kind of narrow down the approaches a bit :p

Hmmm well either i just found a really strange thing or they've flipped the puzzle halfway through because it's now not working.

what did you get?

There definitely seems to be something in binary code but it's not a constant. I'm not finished with it yet
