Does anybody know a way of monkeying around wih the connection so that I can turn the limit off?
It happens dead on the 2 hour mark so I know they've told my PC to do it, I want to turn it off!
Any ideas?

You need to get the full cable package to get 128k as it's only available with NTL etc...
We've got Sky and were not changing...
We can't afford ADSL either...
Looks like I'm stuck with Freeserve now!

hur hur, i've still got mine! 56k is more than enough for you Gabbo, your modem actually seems quite fast, you should try using BlueYonder on a 56k modem :/ thats why my dad moved to broadband.
phi11ip, i'd recommend getting ASDL or broadband if you can, it's definatly worth it if your getting annoyed about getting cut off, you can get 128k and 256k versions too which are cheaper.
That said, BT did induce us into getting broadband by giving us free activation and the first 3 months free for switching away from Anytime. Which was very nice of them all things considered.
