Sheepy - You are one of the posters that I do generally enjoy reading and do respect on these forums.

Some of you, yes I do know well enough and respect enough to laugh and joke about religion and I have done in here in the past. I am also quite willing to laugh at my own expense - the change of nic being an obvious example.

This thread however I do find insulting - simple as that, and if something insults me I have the right to say so.

There is a difference between Goaty goading me about sitting in a circle wearing sandles and singing Kum bye ya and talking about how nice the flowers smell and a thread like this which to me is insulting.

I do have a sense of humour as most people who know me will vouch for.

This one I'm afraid went too far for me.

humour aside, I would hope you know most of us well enough by now not to judge us simply for laughing along in what is essentially just a joke thread.

My stance on religion is unchanged, but I'm always willing to have a laugh at it's expense. Human duplicity has few boundaries.

This kind of thread really pi$$es me off.

I respect that people have different views on religion and I am quite happy to have sensible debates with people on the subject as in the past.

However this type of thread is just insulting and I will treat it, and the people who post insulting comments with the contempt that it / they deserve.

I have respect for people like Goaty who though they may disagree with my viewpoint at least respect that that is how I am. I have no respect for people who think it is ok to type this kind of rubbish.
