'I advise everyone to get down to your local Leisure center and have a go at this great sport. Well it beats playing computer games. BUT THEN, SO DOES IRONING.'
I've only just stopped laughing now . The guy is obviously wasted presenting meagre sports programs, his quick comical mind and rapier wit would be much more suited to his own comedy show.
The Whelk.
You don't understand the pleasures of hitting a small string ball with your hand against a concrete wall really hard until you have played it over and over again.
But I am just possibly the worst ever squash player! :(
Used it as an excuse loads of times at school last year.
See, we have a Leisure Centre round the back of our school.
So if you couldn't be @r5ed to go to Assembley or something, all you had to say was "I was playing Squash" - and it's as simple as that!
Teachers are dopey as hell!
I doubt this would work as well if you said you were playing squash instead of a lesson though! :S
I still manage to find enough time to put in over 18 hours of gaming a week, so the rest of you have no excuse...
I don't actually have to worry about exercise that much anyway, I'm fairly fit as it is, so I think I'll just stick to my downtime of videgaming. ;)
Someone give me a hand with something? With all this chatter over GT:Concept of late I've gone back to GTA3, never actually played it through when I got it last year because at the time I had too little time for gaming, my cornering etc. is fine - but I'll be damned if I can figure out a way to shoot off the starting line w/o wheel spin... any suggestions? I'd like to go through the license tests placing a gold on each section, but I can't even get off the second speed test on B w/o a remedy for wheel spin. :/
*Phones up Microsoft*
What do you get out of playing computer games? Mental challenge and entertainment. What do you get out of playing squash? Physical challenge and exercise.
Comparing the two is just ludicrous.
