How old are you, and how does growing older make a difference when you're playing computer games?
You're never too young to die.
And then have a nice bit of fish and a sleep in the afternoon
Co-incidently I posted a nostalgic look at my gaming past yesterday, ah the good old days....
Flanders is right, watch TV (no thanks) or stimulate yourself (he he), there isn't much competition? I don't know why people get the idea that playing "those silly computer games" is a waste of time. What does everyone else do? Sit around looking at the goggle box, wasting time. Dolts!
Not quite though Goaty - I have to say that when I have gone for the retro stuff on emulators - I have seen just how crap the old speccie games reaaly look nowadays.
But yes it is a pain when my 8 year old daughter actually manages to win the odd game of Tekken. Gone are the days when I used to be gentle and let her win some......
Do you mumble about "The Spectrum was better when your kids whup your dusty beehind at these new fangled games?"
Er...actually I'm 30 next year.
Damn.
I'm a few years older than you and I have been playing games since Pong. My brothers - in - law also play games and we have some good old multiplayer sessions.
Gaming is becoming more and more a part of every day life and as the original gamers age so does gaming in general.
Half an hour on Pro Evo beats half an hour in front of Coronation Street anyday !
You're never to old to play - play to stay young.
