Ok what is this all about, well my good self is currently attempting to produce an advertisement campaign to help increase Nintendo's adult demographic. I will be contacting Nintendo on current adverts (weather or no they have anything to do with adult gaming), I will be contacting Sony and Microsoft on their seemingly successful campaigns aswell.

I will be studying current adverts from Nintendo and try to keep Nintendo as a family friendly company but stamping the "For Everyone" message rather than family friendly = Kids. Other than various research into adverts and logo's I will also be looking at Nintendo's gaming libery and attempting to implement adult titles in there. Another important aspect of my studys is the public, I need to ask 3 types of people on Nintendo those 3 types are:

Average Joe
Casual Gamer
Hardcore Gamer

Once my research is complete I will naturally write my findings in an in depth post for my fellow Gameaday friends to read but you guys are the Hardcore gamers (Sony fans are quite vital to this), and so I will ask you to fill in a small questionnaire, some questions may appear patronizing but be aware this is aimed at 3 different groups and I plan to find certain trends. Please be as honest as possible and here we go:

1: How old are you?

2: Would you brand Nintendo a:

Childrens company
Adult Company
For Everyone

3: When you think of Nintendo what game do you think of?

4: When you think of Nintendo what colour do you think of?

5: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gamecube?

6: If not why?

7: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gameboy Advance?

8: If not why?

9: Did you know that popular horror series Resident Evil is now exclusive to Nintendo Gamecube?

Thank you for your time.

Here's to the future.

Dringo.

No, actually, your wrong. The typical response so far is that no one gives a monkeys about the controller. Stereotypical Ninty over-reaction there.

2: Would you brand Nintendo a:

Childrens company cos of the games they produce(luigis mansion? yuk, sickly sweet game) and their colour scheme. the games i are nintendos most important ( below) are quite childish really, apart from zelda, but final fantasy is more mature. their game which i think has most adult content ( i wont say mature) is conker, bad fur day, which is pretty childish anyway

3: When you think of Nintendo what game do you think of?

zelda, or mario, or pokemon. just all three really

4: When you think of Nintendo what colour do you think of?

purple.

5: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gamecube?

yup nice graphics, _very_ comfortable controller compared to playstation or xbox or dreamcast, but strange games. 1

6: If not why?

7: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gameboy Advance?

yup, pretty cool games (especially mariokarrt - tis amazing.)

8: If not why?

9: Did you know that popular horror series Resident Evil is now exclusive to Nintendo Gamecube?

nope. i always assosciate resi evil with playstation especially after resi evil 3 nemesis. that was a really good game, but code veronica was quite good too. oh well. i hoped to buy a resi evil game for mme ps2, but oh well.

No

The screen on those things looks terrible. I would buy one if the screen was backlit, but then again, that would cause battery issues. Basically, I don't like portable gaming. I've bought an LCD screen for my PSone, because the screen quality is great. I'd like nintendo to do a handheld with a good screen.

9: Did you know that popular horror series Resident Evil is now exclusive to Nintendo Gamecube?

No. Not really interested in Resi Evil.

I thought it might be, but I wanted to point it out anyway. I am surprised that no one has got angry at the "typical PS2" bit. But there you go.
