I will be studying current adverts from Nintendo and try to keep Nintendo as a family friendly company but stamping the "For Everyone" message rather than family friendly = Kids. Other than various research into adverts and logo's I will also be looking and Nintendo's gaming libery and attempting to implement adult titles in there. Another important aspect of my studys is the public, I need to ask 3 types of people on Nintendo those 3 types are:
Average Joe
Casual Gamer
Hardcore Gamer
Once my research is complete I will naturally write my findings in an in depth post for my fellow Gameaday friends to read but you guys are the Hardcore gamers, and so I will ask you to fill in a small questionnaire, some questions may appear patronizing but be aware this is aimed at 3 different groups and I plan to find certain trends. Please be as honest as possible and here we go:
1: How old are you?
2: Would you brand Nintendo a:
Childrens company
Adult Company
For Everyone
3: When you think of Nintendo what game do you think of?
4: When you think of Nintendo what colour do you think of?
5: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gamecube?
6: If not why?
7: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gameboy Advance?
8: If not why?
9: Did you know that popular horror series Resident Evil is now exclusive to Nintendo Gamecube?

Between my PC and GC I have all the gaming I need, and when I'm up and about, I prefer reading to gameplaying. All respect to the GBA which does seem a good product though.

I heard something to that extent. Only through these forums though.

2: Would you brand Nintendo a:
Adult Company - they are an adult company that exploits the market in the ways they know how. Marketing all their products at what will make them the most profit.
3: When you think of Nintendo what game do you think of?
Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros.
4: When you think of Nintendo what colour do you think of?
Red.

Already have a couple. :D

Already have a few. :D
9: Did you know that popular horror series Resident Evil is now exclusive to Nintendo Gamecube?
No. No I didn't. Deh. :D Of course I did, and it r00ls. The GameCube has given a huge and needed breath of life into a series which was beginning to fall under the brand of 'getting crapper'. (Does anybody else smell Tomb Raider currently on reading that?)
Thank You for Your Time.
Here's to the er-no

Anyway:
Ok what is this all about, well my good self is currently attempting to produce an advertisement campaign to help increase Nintendo's adult demographic. I will be contacting Nintendo on current adverts weather or no they have anything to do with adult gaming, I will be contacting Sony and Microsoft on their seemingly successful campaigns.

1: How old are you?
17
2: Would you brand Nintendo a:
Childrens company
(Although the CONSOLE is for everyone, Nintendo themselves produce kiddy games (not that its a bad things))
3: When you think of Nintendo what game do you think of?
Miyamoto and big names like Zelda, Mario and Starfox
4: When you think of Nintendo what colour do you think of?
Purple. Yuck! I've got a black cube, so why do i think of purple?
5: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gamecube?
I've got one. Whih was foolish seeing as all the games I wanted for it are "just over the horizon".
7: If you don't own one already would you consider buying a Nintendo Gameboy Advance?
Maybe. It just seems like a load of ports and downgraded console games at the moment. The only big features, like the links, are used on games I will never buy!
8: If not why?
I don't actually want to play games portably... I read instead.
9: Did you know that popular horror series Resident Evil is now exclusive to Nintendo Gamecube?
Yes. But this could be rubbish. After all, Code Veronica was 100% exclusive to the DC and still appeared on the PS2. Add to that, the PS" is getting all the light gun Res Evil games (So it's 100% NOT exclusive)- even though these games are terrible.

2: Childrens company (when I say that I mean they aim for younger gamers).
3: Mario.
4: Blue.
5: Not really.
6: I've never really been a fan of Nintendo Consoles after the Super Nes.
7: My younger Brother owns one already, but I wouldn't get one.
8: Played my brothers, and found I wasn't that interesting in playing it.
9: No I didn't. And actually wouldn't believe it until it I saw it in writting.
