Nope, It's going to be called "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring- SPECIAL EDITION"
Peter Jackson as he explains in the LOTR DVD 'preview of the November 12th release' says that he "Hates the term Directors cut, Special Edition sounds more appropiate".
Also, ,The Special Collectors edition, just doesn't feature Argonath bookends, but a great " Updated" National Geographic Lord of the Rings DVD as well, all in a Collectors Cubed box!!

I think thats out early next year.
I have both Resident Evil and the 2 disc Lord Of The Rings, and will get the 4 disc Lord Of The Rings and the 2 disc Resident Evil.

Both of the 4 disc versions were announced at the same time as the normal 2 disc version, although they haven't yet announced exactly what additional features will be on them apart from the extended cut spread over the first 2 discs.
I admit it's a bit evil releasing them 3 months apart (mainly to stir up interest in The Two Towers) but the real fault is with the retailers who have concealed the other versions until the release of the first.

What? Armageddon is amazing (from a future director's point of view) and the score by Rabin was amazing too
I got the 2 disc one for £9.99 at HMV
Perhaps a multiangle view of head-with-grenade

How about on the new Reservoir Dogs Special Edition R1 - Multi-angles of the "famous ear scene". Now that's just sick. Funny, but sick.

I know. I think I've watched it once since I got the double disc set. And that was ages ago!
The strange thing is, I like it. I hate it's sheer corniness but I describe it as a happy film. It could be that Bruce Willis dies at the end (which gives the wrong impression because I like Bruce Willis) but whatever it is, I do enjoy watching the second half of it. The first half (on earth) truly stinks and most of the time I fall asleep during this bit and miss the good bit in space. Anyway, I like it. I like Will Patton. I like Billy Bob. I like Michael Clarke Duncan. I like Steve Buscemi. I hate Ben Affleck. I hate Liv Tyler. Oh and I love Willie Fichtner. That guy cracks me up possibly more than anyone else on the planet!

I walked out of that patriotic stink fest when I saw it at the Cinema. Absoloute cack!
