I have completed the game apart from one race, Yaris on Pro level. I have a full spec car but cant get it tuned right. Any tips or ideas on how to win the series.

how did you do it in that time i only just managed 6 seconds

As SSX said, the last time trial is a pain in the A***, it is such a long lap, managed to knock 4 seconds off gold time in the end though !

hi!!!!!!! it's me again guess what i've just done the complex string with 6 seconds to spare it was so easy i was cruising round the corners like a pro but of course i'm not that much of a pro,if you lot can't do it then i'll give a more detailed explanation on how to do it,but i'm sure you will do it eventually.

i think i know how to do it now ,what you have to do is go as fast as you can until you come to a corner then turn sharply while tapping X it works round all corners if you go 100kmh except for the first corner which you should probably do around 70kmh.

hey you guys i beat all tracks in record time in time trial except for the complex string which i got about 3 seconds out of beating the record time which is really unfair seeing as i spent 7 hours on time trial.

I think I found the Complex String Time Trial in Arcade Mode the hardest part of the game, but the Yaris race was also quite hard. I agree with what Ginger said, and would like to add this:

1) Go the same way round the course as the other cars.
2) On right corners, turn right, and on left corners, turn left.
3) Use the X button more than they do.

£100 says this guide isn`t good enough for a gameaday 3 win

roughly, firm up springs/dampers, turn off ASM, change gearing so the car accelerates qucikly, (you might hit rev limiter in top gear on longest straight a few times but overall quicker acceleration will make your lap times quicker), lower ride height as low as it will go, get super sports tyres.

Then slipstream as much as possible and use other Yaris's as barriers when cornering!

I remember this being one of the hardest bits of the game, make sure you save after each race so you can reload if you need to; good luck, you'll need it !
