I've noticed over the last few days/weeks, as the The Day approaches, that my expectations of the new machine have been getting higher and higher. I feared that I may end up being disappointed when it finally comes. To ensure my hat is well and truly blown off my head on the 24th (if I get one then. The PS2, that is, not a hat), I have decided to spend the next 9-ish days observing several rules.

1/ Do not look at any PS2 magazines.
2/ Do not study any PS2 screenshots.
3/ Play only PS games, preferably ones with not-so-perfect graphics.
4/ Do not read any reviews of PS2 games, that leave you so desperate for the game it's hard to concentrate on trivial issues such as work, girlfriend etc.
5/ Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out.

Of course, I should boycott this message board during this time, but it's been so entertaining over the last few weeks, I need to know how the rest of you are coping. If you all could tone down your excitement, and try not to mention how mind-blowingly fantastic it's going to be whilst I'm on the board, I'd much appreciate it......

:o)

Cheers

It is interesting to hear how the anxious wait for the greatest machine ever has gripped different people in different ways. This next week is going to seem like a month of Sundays for everyone I am sure. I have been caught up in all the hype and have been doing things that suprise even me. I have actually tidied up my room and dusted a nice little space to place my black box and vow to keep it clean from now on - Me taking up cleaning!! It may seem an unusuall way to keep occupied but if I dont do anything I will go crazy!! The countdown has begun.

I have got to be the worlds most impatient person, so these last 10 days are going to do my head in. To make it worse, for the past 2 days i have been in bed with flu, so i have had plenty of time to think about it. It is really starting to do my head in.

You might not hear from me for a few days, as i am going to try and concentrate on something else. (Some chance of this happening though.)

Freeola & GetDotted are rated 5 Stars

Check out some of our customer reviews below:

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
