Im a big fan of Snoop Dogg and the Doc I know snoop is working on his new album does anyone know when it's coming out? and I haven't heard of Dre releasing an album

But If your thinking of buying snoop or Dr Dre albums then buy Doggystyle(probally the best rap album ever),Tha Last Meal,Tha Doggfather and Top Dogg and of course 2001 by Dr Dre Rap forever

Did you ever see the Hip Hop Years when it was on C4?

There was one bit where they had a clip of Vanilla Ice defending his integrity and he went on and on saying "Yeah, I'm street". The people making the documentray were showing it to Ice-T and so he goes "Yeah you're street.. What street d'you grow up on? Sesame Street?"

NWA and Ice T were the original gangsta rappers.
Especially Ice T, check out "Rhyme Pays" and "Power"

Incidentally, "Power" has one of the best album covers ever.

Public Enemy have never been gangsta rap. More about educating yourself to rise above the social conditions enforced on a lot of black Americans.

They're a lot of things, but never Gangsta Rap.
