Im so excited about the new season now, Rio is just the type of player our defence was desparate for, hopefully now we can go on to successful season in the prem and europe.
My dream has come true, Man Utd fans rejoice!

with regards to Rio I think the fact that Rio wanted to come to United was a slap in the face for leeds being one of our main rivals, but who cares about them? indeed Rio has a great disaplinary record, I heard G.Neville saying that just because we bought Rio Success is still not guranteed and he compared it to when we bout RVN & Seba and although I agree with him in one aspect, Id like to point out that we desparatly needed a world class defender back then but we didnt get one so the jigsaw was stll unfinished hence Stam left a little after them two were signed, but now we have a solid foundation to go on this season and do well. You could see the problems we were having last season, and although we did fininsh well in Europe & the Prem, we needed that little bit extra at the back because you couldnt really fault out midfield & Attack, hopefully now we will have that little bit of stability at the back. I am so proud of Man Utd because they put out all the stops to get a player with the pedegree of Rio, and out of all the defenders being mentioned I always hoped he'd be the one we go for.
As for Arsey Wenger saying he'd have only paid 20 mil for Rio, If I were him id look at his own team and wonder why he paid lots for players like Jeffers and Richard Wright who he now has to sell at a cut price to get rid of and what about the Inamoto farce, great business there Arsene?
Also remember that Rio seldom does a rash tackle. He hardly got booked at all last season. Showing that he is always in control of the situation.
It's not how much you tackle, but knowing when NOT to tackle.
Or something silly like that.
