"GAD Have Great Prizes To Give Away But What About......."

It would be good if mobile phone accessories or something like Prima's Official Walkthrough Guides were used as prizes not just games (obviously if you have won a £50 game you can't just receive a magazine).I am not saying GAD is not good enough but what if you have no games console?You send in your cheats/reveiws/walkthroughs/topics but have no use for your prize if you win!

You get a great thrill out of winning a competition and out of receiving your prize through the post and to not be able to enjoy it is taking something away from it.

I believe this would improve the number of people on the site and there for increasing the number of cheats/reveiws/walkthroughs/topics.

*Takes off fake tie, gets out of suit, grabs a beer from fridge, sits on the sofa, farts watching football!*

Seriously now i think GAD is amazingly great but doing this would improve the popularity of the site!

Thins like these have all been suggested, but SR won't change the rules of GAD I don't think.

it'll just stay the same.

What WOULD be good would be if you could use your £50.00/£25.00 and use it as a discount against a more expensive product (games console for example).

Filmaday was originally set up for prizes that were given away for winning with a post in certain forums or for reviews of movies. However, Special Reserve just decided to merge it with Gameaday as it seemed more popular. So you can still choose movies just providing they are on the Special Reserve database.

There used to be a competition called Filmaday that's why.

Well, it's called GAD but they give DVDs away too, I remeber them talking about giving away domains sometime back, not sure what happened to that.
I don't thinkthey'd be able to give almost anything under £50 away it looses the point, makes it less of a competition. Don't know why but my heads decided for me.
