Well, I enjoyed it for two days until I had to send it back! :D

> how much have you spent on it now ? £100 + ?

hmmmm....... £35 for the kit in the first place, £20 for two new screens, £47 for packaging it up and sending back to get a new screen and light guide fitted, so.... around £102! Yikes!

Yeah, I'm still waiting for it to come back. Hopefully, it should arrive tomorrow, but it could take up to two weeks! MEH!

> hope i dont break mine when i get a new screen ;(

As soon as the plastic screen starts to peel away at the bottom, stick a knife in (i used my swiss army knife) and pry the afterburner off of the screen. It should rest back against the L.C.D. Then attach the new one. Worked for me! (well, apart from two scratches when I attempted to get dust off of it, which wil now be sorted anyways!)

Did you say they were £10 from portable gamer? and are they the official ones with the gameboy advance logo on the bottom ?

Yes indeedy, £9.99 for an official replaement screen. Oh, and portable gamer sell compressed air for £3, you might want to use that for getting dust out before you put the screen back on!

this afterburner thing isn't going to well for you is it micro ;(
how much have you spent on it now ? £100 + ?
anyway , once you get it and it's "fully" finished you'll enjoy the benefits.

hope i dont break mine when i get a new screen ;(
i need a new one coz i put my GBA in my mums bag coz i couldn't be bothered to carry it , and i hadn't brought the case with me. When i get home , i look at the screen and its covered in big scratches ! Oh well , i was planning on getting a new one anyway , so it dosent matter that much. Did you say they were £10 from portable gamer ? and are they the official ones with the gameboy advance logo on the bottom ? dankashone

you're joking, right?

You people set up a thread where people signed up to be told if they were popular or not?

I thought I was crazy...

Thanks for the occasional kind comment, and lots of blank faces and whispers of "who the heck is that creep?"...

To whoever called me a sailor-boy... I will find you, and I will kill you! (you think I'm kidding...?)
