Hello and welcome to SRW and the all important CAW Vs CAW matchup between the powerful Reaver and the lightning quick STD! These two are both evenly matched in talent but their wrestling methods are worlds apart how will each one fair tonight?
WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!!
It looks as though we won’t have to wait long to find out either as here comes Scotty the Doggy! (Figo) A mixed reaction yet a strong one from the crowd it seems as though STD is almost like Marmite, you either love him or you hate him. STD makes his way to the ring and poses atop the ropes and taunts the crowd menacingly before awaiting his opponent.
Reaver’s (Ant) music hits to a nice pop, he emerges from the curtains and the arena lights up, he slowly takes a look around him almost as if he’s scouting for something before slowly making his way toward the ring, Reaver is careful not to rush into things here as STD is frantic to get things going inside the ring pacing and taunting for Reaver to come on.
Reaver climbs the apron and STD dashes across the ring and forearms Reaver off it and to the mat! The bell rings and STD again begins to taunt Reaver. Showing no fear or pain Reaver slowly gets up and again makes his way onto the apron almost in a relentless Terminator fashion, he stares and STD from the apron as he again dashes toward him but this time Reaver counters and kneels down and hits a shoulder block to the chest! He quickly capitalises and jumps the ropes with both feet and simply falls on STD! Woah! A highly unorthodox yet painful move, Reaver begins to laugh at STD and strolls the ring.
This doesn’t last long though as STD gets up and performs a running tackle to an unsuspecting Reaver, STD climbs on top of him and hammers away with stiff right and left shots to the head. This attack continues with no signs of STD letting up, looks like some built up anger is being unleashed here, who trains this guy? The referee is forced to split it up much to the crowds disappointment and quickly attends to Reaver.
STD looks pleased with what he has done but to a shock response Reaver gets up! WTF (heh, heh) Reaver (Ant) walks face to face with STD, (Figo) Reaver staggers only slightly but it’s amazing he is up so quickly, the two face off for a while then Reaver goes for a punch but it’s blocked and STD tries to return the favour and attempts a right of his own but it’s blocked too, Reaver then goes for the kick which is caught by STD, ENZEGURI!! WHACK!! Yowser!
Reaver quickly picks up his opponent and whips him into the ropes STD comes off and is forced to jump a laying Reaver, he comes off the ropes once more and Reaver attempts a closeline but STD ducks, catches the arm and swings Reaver around into a front headlock and WHAM!! DDT!
STD runs to the top rope quickly and almost as soon as he’s there without hesitation he spring boards off their and soars through the air (like thunderbird 2) and attempts a reverse elbow drop! But Reaver rolls out of the way, he flips to his feet and hauls STD up and inbetween his legs, the crowd come to their feet as they know what’s coming, RUNNING POWERBOMB! BOOM!! He keeps STD in a pinning predicament, 1, 2.....Kick out! So close.
Reaver doesn’t stop there though and heads top rope himself, as he climbs up the crowd ready their cameras and wait for the little flash light to come on as Reaver signals for one of his trademark manoeuvres, Reaver crouches down for the pounce but STD gets up but Reaver is already mid air 450 splash attempt but STD unbelievably uses Reavers own momentum to throw him into his trademark manoeuvre the DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! CRASH!! GOOD GOD!! Right on his head!
STD is taking no prisoners and crawls to the feet of a beaten down Reaver and ANKLE LOCK!! Oh no! The Ankle Lock submission is applied, Reaver is screaming in pain!! He refuses to tap, the referee asks him but still he won’t give in, STD applies more pressure surely he’s got this wrapped up, Reaver struggles for the ropes but is pulled away, but wait, looks like that was a plan, as STD stood up to pull Reaver away Reaver rolled under him and took him down face first. Shocking!
Reaver uses the ropes to pull himself up and face an already standing STD, Reaver leans back and forces a kick with his one good foot putting STD down, he quickly locks in a front headlock and grabs for the side of STD. Oh no here it comes can he do this, Reaver tries to pick him up but his leg gives way, relentless he tries again and again but to no avail he can’t pick him up for the DDT driver. Instead Reaver just falls backwards nailing a DDT!
The crowd laugh and cheer on the match, both men are down and struggling, the referee issues a ten count 1, 2 miss a few and at 9 both men are up, they grapple, STD goes behind Reaver with a hammerlock, Reaver snapmares himself out of it but STD lands on his feet and runs off the ropes Reaver attempts the closeline he’s been disabled on his feet now but STD ducks it and comes off the ropes once more Reaver bends down and flips STD up for the back body drop but again STD lands on his feet turns around and grabs Reaver and SLAM!! Reverse DDT! Reaver was not expecting that.
STD runs to the turnbuckle and jumps top rope and in one fluent move propels himself off it and CRAZYSAULT!! OOOHHH NOOOOO! WHAM!!! THAT’S GOT TO BE IT!! What a move, what air here’s the count, 1, 2........3!! Oh wait Reaver kicked out! Was that before or after 3? The outside officials converse with the referee on the outside, after a few moments the ring announcer gets on the mic and announces that the match is declared a win for Scotty the Doggy! The crowd go crazy with booing they wanted this to continue, I get the feeling this isn’t over.
The crowd burst out chanting, “You Screwed Reaver, you screwed Reaver”.
This could go to the cameras it was too close to call. STD quickly leaves the beaten down Reaver and flees victorious backstage.

Lots of action in that match, and a ncie little piece of writing at the end with STD getting announced as the winner although it didn't look to be a 3 count. Something we've not really seen in SRW before. Nice idea.
