If you read RM18's post, you'll completely understand. I got the same treatment from one or two members, but I forgive them for it under the circumstances. They quickly turned me around and pointed me in the right direction. I wouldn't worry about it. If you turn out to be a good member, they'll treat you as one.

And, like what AfroJoe said, regulars and notables are more annoyed at spammers, like Smoking Guns. I think you'll be ok...

I have a go at newbies that spam. Not just newbies.

I could have a go at you now if I wanted, as this is spam, but I won't now because you don't normally spam... and it tells you the answer if you click on the word 'Newbie' under your name

You need to be here at least 21 days and have done 300 post = 10,000 words or more
