Thought it was time a thread was started, nearly release day, I cannot wait, I know I will complete 100% by the end of the weekend but who cares, replay value exceeds anything else on PS2 by miles.

Yes, I've experienced such weekends a few times in the past, but for various reasons I couldn't attend this one! ;-p

You unlock the POD race by completing all licences (bronze or better).
You unlock the POD Car (for use in races and free run by winning Tahiti Maze II - not sure if it's on Normal or Pro).
Anything else you would like to know, just ask the POD Master.

Typical - my copy arrive this morning, when the weekend has gone and I'm back at work. :-(
I bought it on Sat and spent a couple of hours on it yesterday - it's definatley worth the money and for anybody who doesn't want the full blown GT experience this is a great way to enjoy the sheer brilliance of the driving and graphical that GT provides.
Ive only got 25% at the mo cos I havn't spent that long but... Is it possible to actually get a Gold on the Reverse Autumn Ring / Anybody done it yet ? That was one of my fave tracks from the PSX versions and it's great to be able to drive it in it's updated glory. But it's a damn hard track to stay on...
Looking forward to getting the pods - when do they appear ?

What is a POD car ?
I would also say GT Concept is well worth the 25 quid. It doesnt take long to complete but the proffesional mode is fantastic and will offer a good challenge. OH, and has anyone mentioned the POD cars yet? :)
GT3 Concept is well worth the twenty five pound (twenty three here at SR).
POD cars are the way forward, they are a Concept car develpoed by Toyota and Sony.
