Thought it was time a thread was started, nearly release day, I cannot wait, I know I will complete 100% by the end of the weekend but who cares, replay value exceeds anything else on PS2 by miles.

I was right, there is only one race - the Pod Race in the 4 unlockable extra's, there is also: the end credits, a different beginning and ... I've forgotton the last one !

There are five tracks (plus reverses), on each track (plus reverse) you have to pass a licence test to be able to race it. You then get a prize car for winning on Normal, one for winning on Professional, (like GT3 you can win on Professional only and get both cars and trophies).
Like GT3 there is also a hidden Expert level (highlight Professional and press L1 & L2) - don't know if you get anything for winning this yet though. When you pass all 10 licence tests (bronze or better) you open up the first POD race, there are 4 hidden special items to be unlocked, this is the first of them.

Summary:
10 tracks
1 licence test and Normal & Professional Race per track equals:

10 Licence Tests
20 Races (plus Expert)
4 secret items to unlock - don't think they are all races though, have read some are credits etc)

In total about three hours to complete for good players. Still excellent value for money though !

Who's Billy? :D

I didn't know there was licences. I see you play on like a map where you have about 10 tracks and for each there is 3 races with 3 diffferent cars or summit. And for the last race you get a choice of two cars or something. Am i right? :D

Billy, Concept has 10 licences, you get a prize car for bronze/silver and another for getting gold. Is that enough proof ???
I completed 42% in hour and quarter last night !!
Excellent game though, POD's are the way forward.
POD for Prime Minister !

Does 'concept' have licenses ? if not then G1nger is a relatively large fibber who's pulling your lower appendages, OR he's playing GT3.
