Struggled badly on the chemestry/physics ones and didn't have a clue about the ice one. I took a guess based on the fact that Antartica and the Arctic are far bigger than everyone thinks, plus you have to factor in Greenland, parts of Canada, everything above a certain altitude, freezers etc.
Football and maths ones however I like!

A good try from an old'un, but maybe an old source has been superceeded by a new source ie things do change:)
A good quiz though, looking forward to next one.
Oddly, everyone is getting 5 wrong and giving the same answer, I'm beggining to doubt my sources :P
> ... Timmargh, you did extremely well, getting 17/20!
Cheers! Which ones did I get wrong?
> Thanks, also, for pointing out the need for better wording
> in question 19. I'll edit the post accordingly.
No worries.
> So with that, Timmargh storms in from out the blue, and steals first! :D
The body may be weak but the mind is like a razor ...
See what I mean - my place is always 2nd :p
*realises somebody will now beat either me or Timmargh pushing me down to 3rd*
Dragonlance, you did well, though you made the mistake of multiplying a million and a trillion :D Though to make up for this, I'll accept your mates answer for 15 :P
Alas, you still only manage 14/20, so no top place this time :(
Timmargh, you did extremely well, getting 17/20! Thanks, also, for pointing out the need for better wording in question 19. I'll edit the post accordingly.
So with that, Timmargh storms in from out the blue, and steals first! :D
