Rumours are going round the hardcore gamers that Nintendo are planning to buy Sega. This could mean the beginning of the end of Sony's gaming market!
Although Microsoft are releasing their first gaming console they haven't been really though of as competition for the major games companies, Nintendo, Sega and Sony.

This means that if Nintendo do take over Sega, Nintendo will own two thirds of the console market and will probably give Sony a scare! If Nintendo are powerful enough to take over their main rivals (sega) then what hope has Sony got?

If the take over does take place I think it will benefit more than just the average gamer. Prices of games will decrease by a huge amount and the range of games will be magnificent!

If Nintendo are planning to take over Sega I will back them 100%

Windows 95 was a complete rip off of the Mac OS. I know...

Not sure what the "inspiration" with Win 3.1 came from mind...

yeah, it's probably being designed by some high paid Japanese person though, really doubt that it had much to do with Microsoft, it never does. I need to find out who produced Bill gates first copy of Windows, I will thank him, but then he'll be one of the richest people in the world so I don't think i have much of a chance of doing that.

Thats a good point, and I hadn't thought of that before...

The point about American standards...

Is the X-Box the first console to come from USA? Or outside Japan for that matter?

Microsoft do badly? don't think so, just because they havn't released their system yet doesn't mean it's going to be bad, Microsoft is a much better company(richer)than Sony, plus they're not Japanese(no racism, American things are always better made and more powerful), everyone thought that the playstation would do badly and that the Amiga console would take the market over, or atleast the next nintendo would, but what happened? Do Sony own the best selling console? i think so.

I believe it to be more like a half, or even less.

Anyway, the rumours are quite false, as I stated a while back. Started by IGN, who aploigised for reading a ancient Japanese text wrong. (Famitsu.)

All rumours, anyway.
