I'm just sitting here, chiling, eating a load of penguin bars. There's a Charles Bronson film on Channel 5. God that man is so versatile - surly AND mean, all in one blazing stare! In this film he's taking on a load of punks single handed! I mean, comeon, how tough is he! Anyway, wrote about 4 songs today, which is nice. I've been trying to get a job for the last 4 weeks, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. All I'm doing is piling up the bills until I get my student loan in September. Then I'll be penniless again and forced to busk...with my beard...and my mullet :( - I should make a sign that says "Will work for food and haircut". It's not like I'm totally destitute, I've got things I can sell and parents I can sponge off...it's just that I like working, it feels good to have earnt your money. I did a days work last week, but the agency mucked up and some sticky legal scenarios followed. Shame, as I liked the place. Anyway, flew the Dodo for 128 seconds today - a new record for me.

So hows about you?

My situation is this :

I have to work tomorrow which is grim, and its only wednesday, so the weekend isn't close enough. Apart from that, I've just polished off a Fosters, and I'm about to open another, which is quality. Watched two episodes of the league of gentleman before which were ok, but I've seen them X amount of times before, as uk-play play em to death.

I also look forward to my student loan in september. New car stereo system could be on the cards :-). It sounds like I'm a student sponge, but I have to pay it all back at the end of my degree.

Well, thanks for asking Mr monkey_man. I'm pretty much in the same position as you. I haven't got a single penny to my name and I have to buy lunch at uni tomorrow.

At the moment I am just having a beer whilst surfing the forums for interesting threads to reply to.

I happened to win GAD a day the day before yesterday for a review of the DVD I won from GAD. Which was nice.....

Most of all I am looking forward to the weekend when I can relax and get ever so slightly drunk.

Not much else to say really.

Good luck with the job hunting. Just do an agency job till September. That's what I used to do when I was an under-grad. Worked in a pizza factory before I went to uni, then an exhaust factory for the two summers whilst I was there. Now I am a post-grad I work part time in a carpet factory and the money is pretty damn good. Still, it's not enough to pay off the credit card bill. Gutted.....
