Also if the Xbox is so easy to program for why are'nt there loads of pc games out there for it or being developed. The fact of the matter is that the PS2 has more pc converstions in development than the Xbox, you also have to consider that many console game developers, have not designed for pc's anyway.
Damn my gimpish fingersd

The X-Box with built in digital tv hard drive recorder will be expensive, and is likely to require a digital tv signal (not everyone has that). Anyway, adding other major features like this could confuse the brand. If there were a really big commercial push on it, people might think that is was the only X-Box available, then see the price and turn to a more "predictable" system like PS2 or GameCube.
Putting the broadband inside the X-Box is fine, but loads of people can't get the signal. It's a complete waste of time for me, as my area is unlikely to ever get broadband. Perhaps in 5 years if we are really really lucky. I don't like 56k dial up anymore than the next person, but it's all i can use here. I don't want to play games on it, but email + web would be nice. But X-Box doesn't support 56k modems!
The X-Box supports HDTV as well (with the right cables). Great, so why do you have to pay extra for the remote control/decoder thing?
I don't want to totally bash X-Box here. It's ok, it is a bit more powerful, and there's a lot of stuff in there. But there are so many "port games", and not enough native/exclusive software.
Also, I think that this may have been a GAD attempt.
Scary

Won't that kill the forums off altogether?
I thought it was a unwritten FOG rule that original topics would go ignored, until they were spammed off the bootom of the page by newbie spam?
The tumbling tumble weed.
