Off the artistic roll call forever, buddy.
Confusing...
Rubbish ad.
And Michael Mann shot it.
Bend over lads, here comes the money-dick.
Open wide and see if you can get it all in before you choke

This is the thing, they don't need this money, they make millions and millions of dollars making movies. They usually only do it to get more, and free cars for life or something. The Sam Jackson ad isn't too bad, as it's fairly tongue-in-cheek, but the Del Toro one is just awful, it's lke he's trying to save some credibility by saying 'look, it's kind of like a film'.
*sound of corporate schlong, hanging loose*
They're just people doing a job, whether they're being paid to act in a commercial or in a movie, do you think they see it any differently? I doubt any of them much care for the things they advertise, but also, they've probably been in a few movies that they haven't much liked, but have done to boost popularity and the like.
If I had my way all ads would have big stars in. Like Morgan Freeman eating dog food, and saying "Yeah, I'd give this to my dog" I'd prefer that to the typical lass picking up her dog lovingly and opening up a tin of food, with the soft camera focus, and sweet music.
Mind you, if the actors have previously gone on the record saying they'll only do things of artistic value, then have jumped at the chance to do an ad when a truck load of money is delivered to their door, maybe that's different.
Mind you, if it was a film it looked crap.
I've heard about this.
Stupid Mexican salesman.
