New Chilli Peppers album, listening to now after getting it at lunchtime.

Very cool, very different to Californication & Blood Sugar.

Only two tracks in, "By the Way" and "Universally Speaking" (sounds like The Beach Boys)
More later.

No fair! I wanna work there. I'm sure I do work better with music on. It definitely helps me concentrate but we don't get to put any music on til after normal office hours. I might try a campaign for a Friday music day but I don't like my chances. Despite this I still come to work with about 15 CDs weighing down my bag every day, just to tease myself I guess.

I do now.

Moved into Marketing, and that means creative atmosphere required.
So Mon & Fri are my days for music and it rotates.
Today is Red Hot Chili Peppers & Tom Waits.
Friday will be Fila Brazilia & Dr John

Ok, 2nd go through the CHILI new one now.

I'm getting into this more and more.
It's nowhere near as slap-funk happy as Blood Sugar & Californication.

Imagine an album 85% Scar Tissue/Otherside/Could Have Lied.
"Can't Stop" is the only real stomping funky number on there, although "By The Way" has it's moments.

Lots and lots of harmonies, organs and slight trumpet notes dotted around.
They've ditched the nekkid leapy about songs for the melodic, grown-up ones.

Hmmm, may have to pick this one up tonight along with the new GlassJaw album me thinks.

BTW its 'Chili' not 'Chilli' GB.

I have noted this for a while but chose now to tell you.

I didn't even realise it came out today.

Damn I must go and buy this record.
