Very cool, very different to Californication & Blood Sugar.
Only two tracks in, "By the Way" and "Universally Speaking" (sounds like The Beach Boys)
More later.

Download it now if you're a funk fan.
Best song since "Naked in The Rain" and "Give it Away"
It's a damn sight more laid back than any others.
Trumpets abound.
I like
Only 1 real stand out "funk" track, the rest are extremely laid back.
My favs so far
"By The Way"
"Cabron"
"Tears"
And "Alice" by Tom Waits, but needless to say that's 100% cool.
Damn I must go and buy this record.
I have noted this for a while but chose now to tell you.
I'm getting into this more and more.
It's nowhere near as slap-funk happy as Blood Sugar & Californication.
Imagine an album 85% Scar Tissue/Otherside/Could Have Lied.
"Can't Stop" is the only real stomping funky number on there, although "By The Way" has it's moments.
Lots and lots of harmonies, organs and slight trumpet notes dotted around.
They've ditched the nekkid leapy about songs for the melodic, grown-up ones.
9/10
