I accept no responsibility for anyone having a day off on Nov 24th, or being ill on that particular day.
Phew.
Anyway, I am spending £410 pounds thats one PS2, a memory card and two games at launch. I have had to splash out some serious money on presents for my wife to butter her up for this but I know that like yours she will still want to watch rubbish on the TV when I want to play the PS2.
I have no kids yet but I know if I had then the chances of my getting a PS2 would be almost nil. Good luck!!!
Luckily I dont need to book the weekend off as I only work weekdays anyway (thank god). I will have the day to play on release day (as the wife will be at work) and then the whole weekend to sit up in the wee small hours and play till my fingers bleed (yesss!)
The wife hates video games and consoles, especially ones costing £300. Hopefully Gamesstreet is sending mine to my work so I can ogle it in the privacy of my office (oooh-er missus).
Then, once home I'll have to fight off my 6 year old boy's protests that it doesn't come with Toy Story 2 or Pokemon games, and I just KNOW that the wife will want to watch some 3 hour epic film on TV so I won't be able to play the PS2 properly until after midnight.
Be thankful if you're not married and without children!!
I now have Friday 24th and Monday 27th November booked.
Apart from that and Xmas, I have ONE day's holiday left unbooked for this year - for 'emergencies'. I'm not sure yet whether I'll take Tuesday 28th November, or wait and add it to my Xmas days...
