Beginner mode is really easy, it took me ages though since i thought you had to try and collect every banana.

The title screen music is great, especially when it bursts into full swing.

Super Monkey Ball came yesterday and it really is a great game!

I did the Beginner's Mode in about 10 mins, but I can only get upto Floor 16 in the Advanced one. I also got enough points to unlock Monkey Bowling - which is a great game too.

I also like the music - true SEGA stuff! :)
Reminds me a bit of the later Sonic games on the MegaDrive, and a bit of Streets of Rage too...

Keep it up SEGA, can't wait for the sequel too! :D

Problem is that it can get really frustrating at times.

I just had a wee shot there, i got off to a good start with 5 bananas and a 100 point target, i then got a triple score on the 300 on the right hand pyramid, but then it went downhill. Incredibly powerful windspeeds totally screwed my normal approach runs and left me falling some 10-15 meters short of target.

Me and my bro have memorised a path to take through the air (which ofcourse needs to be adjusted depending on the wind) but for the second and third courses I reccomend you fly to the left, then round to the right and choose your target from there.

By then you should have slowed to a good enough speed to land, but still have enough speed to reach your target.

I dont find the bananas themselves a problem but you can quickly lose speed and miss important targets.

I only tend to have problems in collecting bananas when the wind is over 15mph, my brother seems to be able to get enough nearly every time.

The trouble with the bananas is that they're so small, so the slightest turn can make a lot of a difference

I use the brake balls for the 500's, i find it more reliable to get 2 bananas than 4.
