A colletction of old Sonic games is ude to be released only on the GC:

- Sonic The Hedgehog (Megadrive - 1991)
- Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Megadrive - 1992)
- Sonic CD (Sega CD - 1993)
- Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (Megadrive - 1994)
- Sonic & Knuckles (Megadrive - 1994)
- Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn - 1996)
- Sonic R (Saturn - 1997)
- Sonic Shuffle (Dreamcast - 2000)
- Speculated: Sonic Drift (Gamegear - 1995)

Why can't we have JSRF or Shenmue SEGA!

That'll be good, as I can't really be bothered to get out my dusty old MegaDrive. I've played all those games - except the ones on the Saturn and Dreamcast.

Sonic CD was a good game - the first time we saw Metal Sonic!
Shame we didn't see more Sonic on the Mega CD.

I still wanna see Sonic Pinball come back too. :)
But Sonic Drift isn't that good.
They could make it better by working with Nintendo to give it a Mario Kart Makeover - but with SEGA characters.

Then again... having previosuly completed all the MegaDrive Sonic games, unless there's something new, I don't think i'll bother.

A new Sonic Adventure would be much better!
Or... why not a Tails or Knuckles adventure!!?

Tom, you're doing a lot of posting tonight. Telling everyone what the word "monopoly" means in chat for example. And to think that I just thought it was a board game!

Like my fellow Indian said, the game won't be the same. Half the experience of the game was the most comfortable controller known to man- the game was released with a controller that was similar to the DC's controller bar a few things:

1) The controller was black
2) It was perfectly round
3) The analogue stick was more of an analogue pad
4) There were 6 face buttons, and the triggers were non-analogue.

Amazingly, the analogue pad came out years before the N64 pad...

And anyway, whatever people say, graphics DO MATTER! Imagine playing Zelda OOT on the GB- it's not the same!

Speaking of NiGHTS! have a look at my topic about my greatest gaming ages in chat.

That'd be cool, having Sega's Saturn classics on the GameCube on compilation discs.

I never had the chance to play them on the Saturn (having not ever had one) so it'd be great! (I'm a fan of older games too)

Excellent- good games stand the test of time.

What I really want though is some Staurn games like NiGHTS!, Panzer Dragoon and Fighting Vipers- Some of Sega's best games. (Check out my topic in chat on the subject).

When I first found out about the old sonic games to be released on the cube, I was so excited, and that list is huge.....but what about sonic spinball? Isn't that going to be released at all?
