Yeh, but why? Its a great game, and I`m not surprised its sold well, but to be still selling this well so many months on is just insane. Fair enough, its been bolstered by PC sales, but if you carefully compare the charts for PS2, PC and the All-format chart, you`ll see that the PC contribution isn`t all that much. The PS2 version of GTA3 is still selling extremely well.
Also, I know that all "anti-PS2" people reading this will be preparing to type something along the lines of "its the only good game on PS2, all the others are rubbish" or something, but thats just not true. Its review scores haven`t been as high as several other games on PS2, and I personally rate it as my 8th best game.
I think its brilliant that its doing so well, but its also just so surprising that I had to comment. I wonder if Miami will do the same, or will there be other titles that manage this kind of domination...
