Just suddenly came across this on the internet, what a classic!

'Clean your teeth'
'I said NO!'
'Eat your greens'
'Don't do that'

Ahh the days of being a child, what classic cartoons we had to watch!

The Trap Door
Danger Mouse
SuperTed
Thunder Cats

Look what they got now though, bloody Teletubbies and Tweenies...

You know they are all going to grow up to be complete idiots after spending their young lives watching a bunch of colourful muppets dancing around...

The Moomins was the scariest "cartoon" kids programme ever. Watching an epsiode of this was akin to looking at Hippos in a Zoo whilst on some mind bending hallucingen.

It was Scandanvian I think and featured one episode where the main characters were freaking out because the Ice Vampire was coming to their village. If they were outside when he came.....

That went sraight into my child conciousness.

Creepy.

I also remember a cartoon called "The Mysterious Cities of Gold", I watched about 100 episodes of this and they still hadn't come close to finding them! I distinctly remember one of the characters looked a bit like an unmasked gimpoid and regularly shouted "Eeww Mendosa!". Mendosa by the way was his Gimp Lord (or the captain of the ship).

Bod was awesome, Finger mouse pushed back the boundaries of puppetry for ever, i.e Rod Hull and Emu/ Keith Harris and Orville looked sophisticated after the "man with finger in paper mouse" approach, but what about the Flumps?

Again not really a cartoon, Ivor the Engine, Button Moon, what drivel I have watched in my life.

Still reminicing about the past is cool and it is bringing back "dream like" memories.

More topics like this please!

Some strange cartoons remember I do... (As Yoda would say!)

Around the world in 80 days...

Around the world in 80 days,
To find a pot of gold,
the city where the rainbow ends,
naaaa, naaa, naaa ,naaaa

Something like that! Only just remembered that! I was well young when I saw that, I used to love it!

I had the NES (or was it the SNES) version where you could play as 4 characters, including that boy (what was his name again? Grrr! It's on the tip of my tongue...) That ruled soooo much!
