*PYROS EXPLODE*

Good evening La…er…Gentlemen and welcome to the latest Special Reserve Wrestling PPV Extravaganza, Freefall!!! As you know folks we have some hellacious matches on this card, including Hawk (AfroJoe) vs. Grandprix for the HardCAW Title, two, yes two (!) Loser leaves SRW matches between Reaver (Ant) and Cong Man and Dead Wonder and STD, the King of the Ring Final, and the biggie, a Triple Threat Match for the SRW Title between Scott Steiner (MikeAll), Chris Benoit (Grandprix) and the SRW Champion Kevin Nash (Allardini)! It’s gonna be one helluva PPV, and its starting tonight with an SRW Intercontinental Title match between Diamond Dallas Page (Figo) and the champion, “The One” Billy Gunn (Ant) !!! Anyway, I’ll shut up now, I think Lillian Garcia’s about to sing…

*Lillian Garcia sings the Gameaday National Anthem*

“And introducing the challenger, weighing in at 253 pounds from New Jersey, Diamond Dallas Page! (Figo)”

YO! IT’S ME, IT’S ME, IT’S D...D…P!!! Diamond Dallas Page (Figo) walks down the ramp, flashing his pearly white smile, to a huge reception from the fans. DDP climbs into the ring where he is greeted by Lillian Garcia as he climbs the turnbuckle to milk the admiration from the crowd. He gets down and flexes, and starts running the ropes as he awaits the champion as Lillian lifts the mic…

“And now, weighing in at 272 pounds, from Austin, Texas, the SRW Intercontinental Champion, “The One” Billy Gunn (Ant)!!

“YOU LOOK SO GOOD TO ME!!” Here comes Billy Gunn, accompanied by Chuck Palumbo (RM18) running down the ramp, title in hand! He slides into the ring and drops the title on the outside…making a beeline for DDP straight away! Mike Chioda (loki) calls for the bell – DING DING DING!! They exchange punches in he centre of the ring as the fans cheer…SRW Freefall is officially underway!! Irish Whip by DDP, into the ropes, clothesline. Billy Gunn gets up, but gets clotheslined again by DDP, bouncing against the ropes. DDP picks Billy Gunn up again as Chuck shouts encouragement from the sidelines, but a kick to the gut by Billy Gunn, and an eye rake, disorientating DDP temporarily.

Both men recover and start circling the ring trying to decide how to mount their next attack, slowly whipping up the crowd. They charge at each other…headlock by DDP (Figo). Billy Gunn (Ant) starts elbowing him though, and manages to reverse it into a suplex! DDP lies prone on the floor. Billy Gunn grabs a leg and stamps on his knee! Billy Gunn is decimating the knee of DDP, much to the pleasure of a watching Chuck…and an elbow drop on the knee! Billy Gunn picks up DDP and hits a Russian Legsweep, and then proceeds to drag DDP out of the ring!

Billy Gunn (Ant) holds DDP’s (Figo) arms back as Chuck Palumbo (RM18) starts viciously kicking that knee! I never knew it was a handicap match! Mike Chioda desperately tries to break up this diabolical two-on-one attack but earns himself a punch in the process, knocking him to the floor! Oh, what are they doing now?! Billy Gunn picks up one half of the steel steps as Chuck Palumbo lays out the leg of DDP…AND BILLY GUNN JUST SMASHES THOSE STEPS INTO THE KNEE OF DDP!! Even the crowd wince as that crack echoed around the arena!! DDP winces in pain as Billy and Chuck hug each other. Billy Gunn picks up DDP and rolls him into the pin…but there’s no referee! Chuck Palumbo tries to wake Mike Chioda as DDP slowly gets up, but Mike Chioda (loki) shows no sign of getting up!

Back in the ring, DDP is slowly rising to his feet, but that knee is having an effect on his performance. DDP starts to mount some offence of his own. Irish whip by DDP, propelling Billy Gunn to the ropes, which he follows up with a spine buster! DDP uses this time to recuperate as an annoyed Chuck Palumbo leaves an awakening Mike Chioda. They both get to their feet. They circle each other in the ring again, the crowd getting increasingly excited! Look at the intensity and concentration in each man’s eyes, you can tell they want this really badly. They hook up, grappling with each other. DDP starts elbowing Billy Gunn, followed by a Powerslam! Powerslam to Billy Gunn! DDP goes to hit an elbow drop, but Billy Gunn sticks his knee up, right into the groin of DDP! Man, that’s gotta hurt!

The two men are lying prone on the floor, but Billy Gunn is the first to groggily get to his feet. He goes to hit DDP, but blocked by DDP, right hand by DDP to the face of Billy Gunn…kick to the midsection…DDT! What vicious DDT by DDP, knocking the wind out of Billy Gunn! He goes for the pin…1…2…kick out! He goes for a second quick pin…1…2…kick out again! Oooh, we were so close to a new champion there!

Billy Gunn (Ant) rises to his feet and starts taking it to DDP (Figo), punching him into the turnbuckle. He starts hitting DDP with shoulder block after shoulder block…he steps back and charges at DDP, but DDP moves out of the way. Billy Gunn’s head jerks back as his head connects with the turnbuckle. DDP picks up Billy Gunn and positions him on the turnbuckle into a…SUPERPLEX! Billy Gunn hits the mat as DDP goes for the pin….1……2…..CHUCK PALUMBO PULLS DDP OFF BILLY GUNN AND OUTSIDE THE RING!!

DDP and Chuck Palumbo start fighting on the outside. DDP rams Chuck into the steel steps, then Irish whips him into the barrier on the outside to the evident delight of the crowd! Billy Gunn is still recovering from that superplex as Chuck and DDP fight outside, Chuck gets a chair and tries to use it…but is stopped by referee Mike Chioda (loki) to the cheers of the crowd. Chuck drops the chair as Chuck Palumbo is escorted from the ringside. DDP laughs as Billy Gunn picks up the dormant steel chair and TAKES OUT DDP!

DDP staggers around as Billy Gunn pushes him in the ring. Billy Gunn goes for the Irish Whip, but DDP (Figo) reverses the Irish Whip, a swift kick to the gut…DIAMOND CUTTER! DIAMOND CUTTER TO BILLY GUNN! Is this it? DDP hooks the leg…BUT CHUCK PALUMBO IS DISTRACTING THE REFEREE! CHUCK PALUMBO IS BACK AGAIN! DDP can’t get the pinfall, as Mike Chioda is preoccupied with an interfering Chuck Palumbo. DDP, frustrated, finally gets up and pulls the referee away, but straight into a hard right hand by Chuck Palumbo. DDP staggers...kick to the gut by Billy Gunn…FAMEASSER! FAMEASSER!!

Both men collapse on the floor in a crumpled heap. Urged on by Chuck Palumbo, Billy Gunn drapes his arm over the chest of DDP…the crowd chant along with Chuck as Mike Chioda drops for the count……….1…………2………..KICK OUT! DDP KICKS OUT! Diamond Dallas Page kicks out of the Fameasser! Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo can’t believe it!! Chuck slides into the ring, goes over to take out a standing DDP…BUT MISSES…AND HITS BILLY GUNN A SUPERKICK! BILLY GUNN JUST SUPERKICKED HIS (TAG TEAM) PARTNER!!! Chuck looks absolutely crestfallen as Billy is left reeling on the floor! DDP swivels a devastated Chuck Palumbo around…DIAMOND CUTTER!

DIAMOND CUTTER TO CHUCK PALUMBO! Chuck is flat out on the ground as DDP walks over to Billy Gunn. DDP drops to the floor and hooks the leg of Billy Gunn as Mick Chioda (loki) goes for the pin………..1……………2…………3!!!!!!!!!!

DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE IS THE NEW SRW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!!! DDP celebrates on the turnbuckle with the title as Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo wonder what happened. What did happen is that Diamond Dallas Page pinned Billy Gunn 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring to become the new SRW Intercontinental Champion, but one thing’s for sure, this feud is far from over as Billy Gunn will look to retain his title!

Note from RM18: Sorry if the match is a little incoherent, I took this match on as extra without realising how much I had to do with revision etc. but I didn't want to let everyone down as its the first PPV match, so I hope its ok. Thanks for reading!

I wasn't debating your decision, it's just something you do when you lose the title, like in real wrestling. I was blaming myself, really.

Is that titles held simultaneously or seperately?

Hopefully I'll get a title soon...

Figo is slowly moving up the Championship Records ladder...damn, he's caught up with me with 4 titles now. :D I think Starlight's still got the most, or Jetster.

Ant, I thought about the length of time you had the title, and whilst frequent title changes are, to quote DDP, a bad thing not a good thing, I thought it might freshen things up a bit. And I must admit, there was a little bit of nostalgia giving the title to DDP.

Brilliant start for me at Free-Fall! What a hellacious match RM18, i certainly didn't think it was not up to scratch. It was perfect to open up the PPV. Well done.

How many times does the Intercontinental title kick off PPV's? :D

Couldn't have asked for much more. Freefall starts with a title change. Any one think that everyone is going soft on DDP because of the 'retirement' thing? :D

I'll try and use your new 'method' of match reading Ant, next time a match comes up.

That was perfect for the first match of a PPV, apart from the fact that I lost!

*cries* Damn, I'd had that title for months...well, I think I was very unlucky, and I'll be back challenging for MY title again very soon.

Great stuff RM18, excellent use of Chuck Palumbo, and I've decided to try and read every match line by line, by scrolling down using the arrows at the side. I advise everyone to do this as it works, especially at the end of the match. I thought I'd won when I nailed the Fame Asser, and was rather surprised to see Figo as DDP kick-out. Brilliant.

Excellent match! The first official match at Freefall to begin, and what a cracker!

Some nice use of moves, and plenty of action, not to mention the incident with the referee down and outside interference.

Brilliant 1st match of the PPV!
