Am I strange?

(This is not a joke post, I genuinely don't seem to have any interest in music)

I used to feel the same - untill about 2 and a half years ago.
It was that cheap nu-metal stuff that first caught my attention and a bit of Punk from the Offspring and Less than Jake too.
But then I realised how much nu-metal (aka. 'Kerrang! Music') really does suck (except maybe one or two bands like Hoobastank).

And so now i'm into a bit of Metal (not Death Metal :S), Punk, and a few Punk-Pop bands like American Hi-Fi.

I hate anything that sounds like a dance track, or rhymes like rap or hip-hop too! :@


Hey, if you hate Rap and Dance, it shows you do have SOME prefferences.
So there must be something out there you DO like.... :)

I got the theory because most posts you make on the music forum are about Kerrang bands...

So I just listed the bands that are quite popular on Kerrang...

Anyhoo... it worked... and Linkin Park do not suck in your eyes, you like them, that's great, I don't and don't see what the fuss is about, but you'd probably think that of half the bands I like, just the way it goes...

Vottonator my theory wasn't even about you...

It's just from the few posts I have seen from that Jericho blokey he only seems to list the kind of bands that get played on the Kerrang TV thing... And it annoys me that so many people seem to think that Kerrang TV is the be all end all of alternative music...

So I had a little theory there and wanted to see if it was true... no reply from him yet...

What do you hope to prove by that? It is the same sort of music so he is likely to enjoy to listning to it! Anyway, I like Linkin Park and I'm not a fan of NFG or Blink 182. I don't mind Sum 41 but I'd hardly say they're one of ym fave bands. I like Nickelback but they are not one of my fave bands either. I do like Lost Prophets and they ARE one of my fave bands but I'm not really a fan of any of the others on that list. So you are wrong about me anyway. Your 'theory' is incorrect. MWAHAHAHA!! :-D

I wasn't into any music for years. I used to listen to alot of music when I was yougner but then I just stopped and wasn't interested in it for a few years. However, about a year ago now, I just started listning to a few CDs my brother had borrowed and really got into it again. Now I can't live without music. Gotta listen ot music wherever I go. Take my trusty minidisc player everywhere along with 2 minidiscs - my ultimate Muse one and then another random one. :-D
